The program includes music, theater and performances in public space. The undisputed star of the music scene will be the audience-loved Róisín Murphy, and The Teskey Brothers will play their first ever Polish concert. In the Old Market Square in Poznań, artists will take you on a sky-high journey with a breathtaking performance of “RoZéO,” and the opening weekend will see original theater productions from Italy and Spain alongside Tilda Swinton and Olivier Saillard. You will not be bored!

blues-soul songs by Australian group The Teskey Brothers. From the imagination-stirring sky-high
acrobatics of the French troupe Cie Gratte Ciel responsible for “RoZéO” to a unique musical performance by electropop queen Róisín Murphy (in the 1990s “half” of the famous duo Moloko). The Malta Festival will become – between June 20 and 28 – a celebration of diversity filled with music and movement, positive energy, and closeness to nature.
We do not change the course we have set, offering what is fresh and artistically sophisticated in world music and theater, and at the same time will try to meet the needs of fans of popular culture. While concerts will be buzzing with the Canadians of BADBADNOTGOOD blurring the boundaries between jazz and hip-hop or the French of L’Impératrice experimenting with electronic sounds, elsewhere Malta will resound with the sounds and images of the all-sensory stimulating performance “ULTRAFICCIÓN no. 1 / Shards of Time“ by the Spanish collective El Conde de Torrefiel,to invite you
in a moment to a thrilling show of movement and dance to the visual theater of ”The Rite of Spring” by the Italian group Dewey Dell.
