The real “heart” of Poznań is the Old Market Square. This is where all tourists come to admire the unique Renaissance Town Hall, which is one of the most important symbols of the city. This majestic building with a unique clock tower and famous goats attracts attention with its architectural perfection and rich history.

However, the Old Market Square is not only the Town Hall. The picturesque tenement houses surrounding it also play a key role in creating the unique atmosphere of this place. Each of these tenement houses has its own unique history, full of anecdotes and legends that take us back in time to past eras. In the 16th century, these houses belonged to merchants trading here, whose work and everyday life left a lasting mark on the history and culture of Poznań.

Looking for inspiration to create a logo for an international event, we decided to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the Old Market Square. This is a place that is well known to every Poznań resident, and at the same time it fascinates with its uniqueness and beauty.

The facial motifs visible in our graphics were inspired by the decorations of one of the tenement houses of the Old Market Square. These faces are not only architectural decorations, but also a symbolic reference to the history and people who have created this city over the centuries. We wanted to capture the spirit of this place, transferring its magic and history into a modern, stylish logo that will be recognizable all over the world.

In this way, our project not only pays tribute to the past, but also combines tradition with modernity, creating a coherent visual identity for an event that aims to unite people from different cultures and corners of the world, just as the Old Market Square once united merchants from all over Europe.
