Events

The city’s patron saints are Saint Peter and Saint Paul. June 29 is the name day of Piotr and Paweł, which is why this day is also celebrated as the name day of Poznań. For this reason, the turn of June and July is full of many events in Poznań, which the competitors taking part in our European Championships can witness and participate in.

Malta Street Theater Festival

During the festival, the city’s streets, squares and parks turn into theater stages where performances, performances, concerts and workshops take place. It is a great opportunity to experience various forms of art in an open urban space.

Midsummer Fair

It takes place in the Old Market Square and its surroundings. It attracts numerous exhibitors and visitors, offering a rich selection of handicrafts, regional food products and souvenirs. The program also includes concerts, artistic shows and workshops.

Kupala Night

Celebrated on the night of June 23-24, it is a traditional Slavic holiday associated with the summer solstice. The celebration includes lighting bonfires, throwing wreaths on the water, singing, dancing and various rituals aimed at ensuring prosperity and health.
